Gas Production

Arystan Oil has been emergent in the Mangistau-Usturt Basin on Southern Mangishlak Northern Buzashi. In 2019 and consequently in 2015, it was licensed to produce oil and gas from Mangistau-Usturt Basin for a period of 10 years and in 2017 for the geological study of the Usturt Block, which lies directly offshore and parallel to the existing Zkruzhnoye field.

Arystan Oil strategy for promising gas fields development hinges on cost effectiveness achieved through building up gas production facilities in sync with gas transmission, treatment and storage capacities

Arystan Oil operations comprise integrated oil & gas producing, processing, refining and transportation facilities. Most production facilities and equipment were imported from the United States, Europe, and part of Asia. Arystan Oil and others merging management refineries also has a rail terminal facility at Pervomaisk and its operational centre is located at the Okruzhnoye field site. Oil is transported by infield pipelines to a central processing plant with a capacity of 34,200 BOPD. Following processing, oil is either sent to export oil storage tanks or to Arystan Oil refinery directly to the processing plant.

From 2015 to 2018, Arystan Oil in a merger drilled an additional three producing wells. In 2013, Arystan Oil was licensed for the geological study of the Pogranichnoye Block, which lies directly offshore and parallel to the existing Okruzhnoye field. The Administration of Sakhalin Oblast currently controls a 2.84% minority ownership interest in Arystan Oil which is held by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sakhalin Oil Company.

The refinery has a capacity of up to approximately 66,700 BOPD of LNG, LPG,
